Drawings of Crosses

I am not a religious person but I was raised in a family that held strong Roman Catholic Values and  I do consider myself to be a very spiritual person. I believe in a divine power and pray often in my own way, I don't let others control my beliefs. I worship the natural world as well for it plays an important part in my faith. As someone who has suffered a lot of different struggles in life I have often turned to faith. I trust in the power of good, over evil.  I believe that a person should try to maintain certain values, morals and conduct in order to preserve the little good that is left in our world.

In ancient Egypt the cross represents life and fertility. In Christianity which the cross is a frequent symbol, it represents how Jesus has conquered sin and death, by his own sacrifice during his crucifixion. My particular cross is designed with a flower growing from the center. It represents how through my faith I have conquered death and darkness. That the good can grow and spread with faith.

“There is some good in this world, and it's worth fighting for.”
