Step 2: Using Painters Tape, tape the borders of the paper to the table with the large tape. On the right side of the card, create a simple Christmas tree shape and on the left side of the card divide the space into several parts (use small painters' tape for both).
Step 3: On the spaces outside the tree, draw simple snowflakes with a white oil pastel.
Step 4: Add Cold Colours (blue, violet, green) using the watercolour paint.
Step 5: Before the paint dries, sprinkle some salt over the paint. This will create a snowflake winter effect.
Step 6: Using the colours of your choice paint the inside triangles of the tree. I painted the tree with combinations of green and the trunk with combinations of brown.
Some Ideas of How to Paint the Tree
Step 7: Wait for the paint to dry, then remove the painter's tape slowly.
Step 8 (Optional): Outline the tree with a thin black sharpie marker and paint a golden star.
Step 9: Write a Holiday theme message inside the card and decorate it with winter themed illustrations for the inside border of the car.
