My Participant's Finished Decorations
This activity was more difficult due the participant's limited mobility and cognitive capacities. We ended up producing colorful decorations to display around the classroom. One participant extended her painting to the paper towel, most needed assistance with their brush strokes. This is why art making when working with seniors is not focused on the product but more on the process of the activity, the main goal being to socialize the participants with a leisure activity aimed at bringing more joy and fun into their lives by fostering a sense of community.
