Lesson
The Scanned Self-Portrait

Goal: To use a scanner to create an image that represents yourself.

In this example I created a self-portrait using various objects such as:
-Photographs of myself, representing various aspects of my personality.
-A ceramic decal I made representing a pirate ship which symbolizes my desire to travel and explore
- A pocket watch symbolizing my love of traditional things.
-Objects from my travels such as a coin from Peggy's Cove.
-A sea necklace from the Canadian Maritimes, and a small mosaic from a ruin in Tunisia.
-A bracelet from the Church where I worked also representing my faith.
-One of my favorite scarfs as the background, the color blue representing  honesty and loyalty which are the values I hold with highest regard.
