Make your Own Scratch Art

Materials

• Box of Oil Pastels
  
• Extra Black Oil Pastels 
  
• Black Acrylic Paints
  
• A jar of water 
  
• Large to medium pain brushes
  
• Wooden chop sticks (recycled)
  
• A thick white paper (I used recycled thick paper)

Step 1:

• Select bright oil pastel colours and cover the entire white paper with different colours.
• Idea: Draw the lines of the rainbow to cover the page

Step 2:
Option 1: Cover the entire coloured paper with a black oil pastel (Requires several extra black oil pastels).

Option 2: Paint the entire coloured paper with black acrylic paint. And wait 10-15 mins for it to dry.

Step 3:

• Use a wooden chop stick to draw an image by scratching off the paint from the paper. This will reveal the colourful oil pastels underneath.
