Materials: -Paint Brush -Masking Tape -Watercolour Paints -Watercolour Paper -Salt -Saran Wrap -Sponge -Hair Drier -Jar or container of water -Paper Towel -Masking Tape (Ideally the green one) -Small Spray Bottle with Water
Watercolour Tree Scene
Project Steps
Step 1:
Using masking tape, tape the edges of the watercolour paper to the table.
On the watercolour paper, create an image of a tree using masking tape.
Note: Rip the pieces of masking tape into smaller pieces to create the smaller parts of the branches.
Step 2: -Using watercolour paint with a wet brush, paint a sky and a ground . -You could use a sponge, saran wrap, or salt to create texture on the paint. -Wait till it dries or use a blow drier.
Step 3: -Once the paper is dry, gently remove the masking tape from the paper, reveling the tree.
Step 4: -Use a black sharpie to outline the tree and add a creature inside the tree.
Step 5:
Using watercolour colour in the tree, and the animal within the tree and let the painting dry.
