Painting Birch Trees

Required Materials

  • Large Paint Brush
  • Small Paint Brush
  • Popsicle Stick (cut at the tip)
  • Masking Tape
  • Q-Tips
  • Pencil
  • Acrylic Paint (White, light blue, brown, green, red, orange and yellow)
  • Plastic pallets or paper plates
  • A canvas

Project Steps

Step 1: Place Masking Tape where you want your                     Trees
Step 2: Paint a Blue sky by mixing blue and white                      acrylic paint
Step 3: Using a Popsicle stick, paint brown paint on the tree trunks using a left to right motion. Put brown paint on the edges on the tree trunk. Using a small brush to add brown branches to the trees.
Step 4: Using a Q-Tip, paint the leaves on the trees using the colors of your choice.
Step 5: Let dry, the remove the masking tape.
